Next 90 days

Beginning of another 90 days, I have 2 goals….. Change pin and attend World Team School in Taiwan. As told by Guillermo at APEX 2009 in Korea, “First 10″ are the most difficult. But, I will not disqualify myself without even trying. I will hold on to my faith and maintain a good attitude towards learning.

Extravaganza @ Korea – Simply Wonderful!

I was in Korea from 18 – 22 June. 3 out of 5 days were entirely for Extravangaza and I am glad I went!

First night was brought to a close by an amazing Herbalife Idol Contest and Concert in support of the Herbalife Family Foundation. A memorable night of fun and fund-raising.

2nd day started on serious training for me. The feeling in the room was absolutely incredible as more than 14,000 Asia Pacific Distributors caming together to celebrate Herbalife amidst a backdrop of the beautiful seasons of change. Incredible host of speakers and MCs reinforcing the event theme “Proven. Powerful. Now is the time.”

Last day was the close of yet another wonderful Herbalife event. The celebrations, recognition and were inspirational as the 2009 Extravaganza concluded for another year.

This is my 1st time attending such big event. It was quite an experience. Boo~ But holiday was too short though! And I got no time to do shopping! BUT, I bought a lot of Herbalife stuff!

First time my luggage was not filled with clothes, shoes, bags!

Tae Ho & Hyun Mo Kim – Two of the first distributors in Korea

Here is another couple in Herbalife who caught my attention during the Asia Pacific Extravaganza in Korea. They are the Chairman’s Club Members – Tae Ho Kim & Hyun Mo Koo

They were knee-deep in debt from their defunct dairy business when they were introduced to Herbalife. A former dairy farmer, Tae Ho Kim was struggling to supplement his family’s income by selling medication for animals, while his wife, Hyun Mo Koo, suffered from declining health. After Hyun Mo required major surgery, she was unable to continue her job as a social worker. But the change wasn’t only economic. “We feel and look much younger now than we did six years ago,” Tae Ho declares. “Herbalife not only gave us our health back, but also freedom in our lives. During a training by them, they did something that deeply touched my heart. They wore the magician hats and brought out a box telling us that the secret of their success is in the magic box and they said they will show us what is it. We stared at them and the box with anticipation. Finally, they opened the box and pulled out a super long string of event passes. Those were all the events and trainings they have attended for the past many years. Gosh! It was really a lot events they went! Many people including myself broke down into tears when we saw this scene. Indeed, there is no short cut to anywhere worth going. If you want success, you need to work for it and never stopped learning. All the events and trainings are where we improve and empower ourselves. But very often we give ourselves many excuses why we can’t go for this or that event. Maybe sometimes things are really not within our control. Whatever it is, it’s our future… we have to decide what we need to do to get there.

New Chairman’s Club Members (Korea): Dong Keun Chung & Young Hyang Park

I’m back from 2009 Asia Pacific Extravaganza!!!! I had great fun and brought home with me a lot of thoughts and learning.

One of the speakers who left a deep impression in me was Dong Keun Chung. I saw him fighting his tears while he was speaking. He is strong….. but I can’t hold my tears.

He was born in a poor family. He told himself that when he grew up and has his own family, he will not let his family live in poverty like him. Since then he had a dream to live a wealthier life. In seeking his dream, he failed 16 times in his businesses. He joined various direct marketing companies but failed even he had worked very hard. He never gave up because he believes as long as he continues to work hard, he will find a good one. At one point of time, he wanted to end his life because he felt life was meaningless. He worked so hard yet all he got in return were failures. He gave up the thought of dying because of his family.

He came to know Herbalife through Chairman’s Club members Hyun Mo Koo and Tae Ho Kim. He accepted their invitation to learn more about Herbalife after rejecting them 4 times and he is grateful that they never gave up on him.

He made it to Chairman Club due to following reasons:

• Always think HBL business is easy
• Have a desperate desire to have better life
• Never stopped to believe in HBL and his sponsor
• Do not make excuses, always say yes
• See failure as the foundation to success

Dong Keun Chung & Young Hyang Park – the new Chairman Club Members in Korea – May 2009

Ever since he can remember, Dong Keun Chung was on a mission to succeed.

Familiar with direct-selling opportunities, he tried several such businesses; however, despite his positive approach, all of his attempts failed and he ultimately fell into despair. My first Herbalife cheque

I’ve got my 1st cheque from Herbalife for my International earnings last month. It wasn’t a significant amount of money but it does serve as a reward and the motivation in working towards my dreams.

I chanced upon the above picture of the Bonus Cheque awarded to International Chairman’s club member – Doran Andry during 2008 Mark Hughes Bonus Awards Night. This amount he received was only his 1% bonus. And guess what? He donated the money to Charity.

I have been taking Niteworks for half a month. Well, I don’t have health problems. I’m taking this for heart health maintenance. I don’t want to wait till I have problems then I start taking this. Why go through the sufferings or wait till illness attacks when we can do something to enhance our health now?

Anyway, since I started to drink niteworks, I realised I could sleep better now and I feel rejuvenated the next day! I have been having insomnia for a long time.

A mission impossible for Weight Loss Challenge?

The last body analysis I had at the Weight Loss Challenge session, I came in 2nd position for being the one to have the biggest drop in fat% for that week. I definitely didn’t expect that because a lot of people are really doing well.

I was telling myself I need to be more diligent and discipline in my programme so that the drop can be consistent and perhaps even more when I do my final analysis for Weight Loss Challenge Season 6 this coming Wednesday. BUT I had chocolate, alcohol and fried stuff last week!

Well, I’m not giving up as I know the remedy to it….. maybe a bit too late to do miracle since I only left with 3 days. I refused to take the reading myself even though I have my own analysis machine. I shall wait to hear either the happy or sad news this Wednesday.

Actually, I don’t think I will be sad because I am very please with the result and progress I’m having now. Just that, it is a pity for not winning since I know it isn’t difficult to win at all.
